Professional Window Installation

There are basically 2 different types of installation. Inserts and full frame. An insert installation is the most common type of installation in the replacement window business. That is the only way most companies will replace windows. In an insert installation, your existing window frames and trim are left alone and the new window is custom made to fit inside your old window frame. This is normally an acceptable installation and meets the needs of 90% of homeowners.

Like with all window companies, this is our most common installation. Often, with an insert installation, the exterior trim (window sill and brickmold) are covered with a custom made aluminum wrap making the exterior clean and maintenance free. A wide variety of colors is available so you can match your homes look.

A full frame installation is a little more involved than an insert. The entire old window frame is removed and disposed of and the new window is ordered to fit inside the rough opening. New interior casing is sometimes applied with a full frame installation. There are a few different options for the exterior trim. The options for full frames are really best determined on a case by case basis depending on existing conditions.
